Celestina Ngohide Saawuan Called to Nigerian Bar as Solicitor of the Supreme Court

On July 9, 2025, Celestina Ngohide Saawuan was officially called to the Bar as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. The ceremony took place at the prestigious Body of Benchers premises in Jabi, Abuja, drawing a large gathering of friends and family to celebrate her remarkable achievement.

Celestina, a proud graduate of Benue State University, completed her law studies at the Enugu Campus of the Nigerian Law School. In the celebratory photograph, she is seen standing in the middle, flanked by her uncle, Mr. Amos Terwase Apaa, and his wife, Mrs. Stephanie Msurshima Apaa, symbolizing the strong family support behind her success.

This milestone marks a significant step in Celestina’s legal career, paving the way for her future contributions to the Nigerian legal system. Friends and well-wishers expressed their pride and excitement as Celestina embarks on this new chapter as a qualified legal practitioner.

Speaking of her niece’s memorable call to Bar, Mr Amos Apaa expressed significant thanks to God and said this was a ‘major’ achievement for Celestina and the family.
