Novus offers free registration for businesses in Benue

Date:

To commemorate the three years of Fr. Hyacinth Alia in office as Governor of Benue State and the second anniversary of the bank, Novus Microfinance Bank has offered free registration of eligible unregistered businesses in Benue State with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

Licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on March 8, 2024, Novus was established by the Fr. Alia administration to cater to the banking needs of the Benue populace by providing support for individuals, businesses, and agricultural activities, job creation, commerce, and rural development.

Since its inception, the bank has been providing affordable loans, including the School Improvement Loan Scheme (SILS), to single proprietary school owners in the state to improve the quality and standards of education.

Now, the financial institution offers unregistered businesses the opportunity to “formalise” their business at absolutely no cost, the bank management says.

It names the benefits of the offer as legal business recognition, access to loans and grants, improved credibility, and greater growth opportunities.
