Atume conquers Africa, targets Super Falcons

Benue-born striker Atume Doosuur has added another golden boot to her growing collection, emerging as the top scorer at the WAFU B/CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.

The Kwande-born goal poacher’s latest feat comes just 83 days after she won the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Golden Boot, underlining her rapid rise as one of Nigeria’s most exciting female football talents.

Atume has now gone from conquering Nigeria to conquering West Africa, with her goalscoring exploits earning her growing calls for a place in the Super Falcons ahead of the forthcoming Olympic qualifiers.
