The Governing Council of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), has approved three key appointments at the university.
TNT understands that the council has approved the appointment of Professor Simon Terver Ubwa, former Acting Vice-Chancellor, as Director/Centre Leader of the Centre for Food Technology and Research (CEFTER).
Other appointments include Professor Vitalis Torwel as Director of the Centre for Research, Innovation and Grant Management, and Mr Gbehe Simon Ingbian as the University’s Chief Security Officer (CSO).
While the appointment of Professors Ubwa and Torwel is effective from May 14, the appointment of Mr Gbehe takes effect from May 13.
A statement from the university’s Directorate of Information, Protocol and Public Relations says the appointment of the trio is based on their track record of service.
