Professor Kohol Iornem celebrated his sister, Doomama Iornem, on her 50th birthday, describing her as a reliable, selfless, goal-driven woman whose determination has enabled her to achieve remarkable feats.
In a birthday tribute, Prof. Kohol said Doomama had distinguished herself through her resilience, vision and commitment to making a difference, despite having achieved her successes largely through personal determination and self-motivation.
He highlighted her academic achievement of earning a PhD, her sustained investment in her catering business, Doomama’s Chef, as well as the establishment of the Hopes and Hearts Foundation, through which she gives back to society.
According to Prof. Kohol, Doomama’s accomplishments extend beyond her academic and entrepreneurial pursuits, as she has consistently shown a willingness to support others and make things happen.
“If you want things done urgently, you can count on Doomama Iornem. She is reliable, selfless and a goal-getter,” he said.
Prof. Kohol, who described his sister as “a woman with a big heart,” noted that her ability to support and encourage others was one of the qualities he most admired about her.
Reflecting on her 50th birthday, he said the occasion gave him an opportunity not only to celebrate her achievements but also to express his love and appreciation for her openly.
“It’s not really our culture to openly profess love to our siblings, but Doomama, I love you,” he said.
He prayed for many more years of good health, joy, peace and fulfilment for the celebrant, urging her to continue inspiring others through her goals, determination and achievements.
