APC extends e-registration deadline to Feb 8

Date:

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced February 8 as the new date for the closure of its ongoing e-registration exercise.

Mr. James Ornguga, the State Organizing Secretary/ State Coordinator, APC Registration Exercise, Benue State, says the decision was taken by the National Working Committee of the APC “to accommodate more members who are yet to register.”

APC commenced e-registration of its members earlier this month and was due to close at the end of the month when the decision to extend the exercise to February 8 was reached.

Mr Ornguga, therefore, urged all party members “to take advantage of the extension to register massively to participate in the forthcoming ward, local government, and state congresses of the party.”

Meanwhile, Buruku has moved to the second position on the log of registered members per Local Government Area (LGA), with Katsina-Ala LGA maintaining the lead, while Tarka LGA is third to the last.
