Iheanacho hits 100 career goals

Date:

Nigeria international, Kelechi Iheanacho, scored his 100th career goal in Sevilla’s 3-1 win over UE Olot in a Copa del Rey clash on Thursday, 5th December, 2024.

It’s a milestone moment for the Nigerian star.

Affectionately known as the Senior Man, Iheanacho is known for his vision, dribbling, speed, finishing and athleticism. Although mainly a striker, he is able to play anywhere in the final third and is generally described by pundits as one of the most efficient strikers.

After scoring a goal, his goal celebration trademark is going on his knees and pointing his both hands in respect to the sky which he has described wrestling legend, his favorite wrestler Bryan Danielson as the inspiration behind it.

In 2013, the wrestler acknowledged him after he became instrumental to Nigeria’s win over Mexico with four goals that year.
