The Benue State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has extended good wishes to the party’s candidate for the 2027 Benue North East Senatorial District election, Mr Robert Aondona Tyough a.k.a Bob Tyough, as he turns 55 years of age.
Bob Tyough represented Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency between 2019 and 2023. He turned 55 on Tuesday, June 9.
ADC, in a goodwill message to the Kwande-born, said, “For nearly two decades, Chief Bob Tyough has remained steadfast in his commitment to quality service, built on trust, inclusivity, principled leadership, and people-centred democratic values.
“Through seasons of challenge and triumph, his conviction that the people deserve a better political culture has never wavered,” Michael Inyaregh, State Publicity Secretary of the party, says in a statement.
According to the statement, Bob Tyough has demonstrated exceptional leadership and competence during his tenure at the National Assembly, where he represented the people of Kwande/Ushongo and left legacies that continue to inspire democratic transformation and effective representation.
“As he celebrates this milestone, we honour his vision, sacrifice, and enduring contributions to the development of the Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency, Benue State, and the advancement of democratic governance.
“We also call on the good people of Zone A to support his bid to represent them in the Nigerian Senate in 2027,” the statement concluded.
