Father of 12-year-old Jemima, Prof Kohol Shadrach Iornem, says he was shocked after his daughter “returned £40” from “£50 for her birthday.”
Jemima turned 12 on Thursday, February 12, and her father “gave her £50 for her birthday.”
“She took £10 and returned £40. She said £10 is enough for her. I am still in shock,” Prof. Iornem.
According to Prof. Iornem, Jemima, “is everything you would want in a daughter. She is quiet, intelligent, punctual, and thoughtful.
“I am truly amazed at how she has taken responsibility for herself by herself. Behaviour-wise, she has exceeded our expectations.
“If I were asked to find a fault, honestly, I wouldn’t find any. She is my peace of mind. Happy 12th birthday to Jemima, my first fruit.
“Today, I want to appreciate God for gifting you to us. I pray for greater heights for you.”
