The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has congratulated Barr. Terence Vembe, Executive Director of the Commonwealth Handball Association, on his appointment as a member of the International Handball Federation Arbitration Tribunal.

It is understood that the International Handball Federation (IHF) Arbitration Tribunal serves as the IHF’s highest internal legal authority and provides final, binding resolutions to legal disputes within the handball community, ensuring compliance with the IHF Statutes, Regulations, and the Rules of the Game.

The President of HFN, Mr Jibril Saidu Ojih, in congratulating Barr. Vembe, on behalf of the Federation, expressed pride in the Benue-born’s achievement, citing his astute administrative and technical experience in Nigerian handball as key factors in his appointment.

“Barrister Vembe’s appointment is a testament to his dedication and expertise in handball,” Atabo Opaluwa, Media Assistant to the President of HFN, quotes the president as saying.

“We are confident that his contributions will further elevate the sport globally,” the president went on.

He says the Federation looks forward to the continued success of the arbitrator.
