Ambassador Kave celebrates 50th birthday with IDPs in Benue

Date:

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pumpking Oilfield Services Ltd, Ambassador Godwin Kave, PhD, on Tuesday, April 21, visited Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Makurdi with both food and non-food items as part of activities marking his 50th birthday anniversary.

Several activities, including Medical Outreach, AI & ICT Skill Acquisition for youth, flag-off of the scholarship Scheme, football meeting, Colloquium/Book presentation, unveiling of the Kave Economic Empowerment Foundation (KEEF), and a Thanksgiving Mass, are lined up to celebrate the Buruku-born.

An advocate of peaceful co-existence, Ambassador Kave is concerned about the plight of those who have been forced out of their homes by terrorist herdsmen.

This is not the first time he has visited IDPs with relief materials, having done so earlier when he served as President of the St. James’ Minor Seminary Old Boys Association.

According to Ambassador Kave, his visit was not a one-off, even as he hoped that the state would overcome the problem of insecurity so that displaced persons could return home.

Fr. Solomon Ukeyima, Dean Ikpayongo Deanery, and Ter Makurdi, HRH Vincent Aule, both urged people of goodwill to learn from Ambassador Kave, who remembered the IDPs in his time of celebration. They also prayed to God to bless the celebrant more.

Responding on behalf of the IDPS, Friday Abo thanked the celebrant for his kind gesture. He prayed to God to bless him to continue to touch humanity positively.
