The management of Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), has stated that the university’s Matriculation Oath Form and the University Anthem are not for sale and should not be purchased from any individual or group.
It emerged last week that MOQUM’s management “is forcing students to buy the matriculation oath form for ₦1,100.”
However, the university, in a statement issued by the Directorate of Information, Protocol and Public Relations, “strongly warned” newly admitted students to desist from patronising illegal vendors of oath forms and the university anthem.
“All successfully screened and registered students are hereby advised to download these documents directly from the University’s official website: www.bsum.edu.ng,” part of the statement reads.
Meanwhile, the university is due to hold its convocation on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
