MOAUM gets Senior Staff Development and Training Committee

The Governing Council of Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM) has constituted the Senior Staff Development and Training Committee, chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Timothy Terseer Alabar.

TNT learnt that the Committee is mandated to handle all matters relating to the training and development of senior staff of the University, as well as any ancillary issues that will facilitate the effective discharge of its responsibilities.

Professor Emmanuel Eriba Otor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Andrea Ornguze, Provost, College of Health Sciences, Dr. Michael Achadu, and Professor Reverend Father Francis Shagbaor Wegh, both External Members of Council, Mr. Barnabas Terfa Hemba, Registrar, Dr. Amos Egwurube Otse, Bursar, and Professor Innocent Isa Ekoja, University Librarian, are members.

Also serving on the Committee are all Deans and Directors, Professor Emmanuel Ordue Usue (Representative of Senate), Professor Philip Terhemen Abachi (Representative of ASUU), Luper Shishi (Representative of SSANU), Jacob Benjamin Yaakugh (Representative of NAAT), and Samuel Terfa Hembaor (Representative of NASU).

According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Information, Protocol, and Public Relations, the university’s Deputy Registrar, Senior Staff Establishment, Mr Joseph Shirvihi Asema, serves as Secretary of the Committee, while Samuel Igwe Ogoda, Peter Denen Mede, and Martins Tselumun Verinumbe will be in attendance.
