APC commences e-registration of members in Benue Jan 12

Barring any last-minute changes, Fr. Hyacinth Alia, Governor of Benue State, will be listed as the number one member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Benue State as the broom’s party is due to flag off the statewide e-registration of members on Monday, January 12.

Mr James Ornguga, State Coordinator, APC E-registration Exercise, Benue State, says the e-registration will commence with the enrolment of the governor at the Alia Polling Unit, Mbangur, Mbadede Council Ward, Vandeikya Local Government Area (LGA), Benue State, on January 12, at 10am.

The registration exercise, according to Mr Ornguga, is for both new and existing party members, who shall present National Identification Number (NIN) and Voter’s Identification Number (VIN), “without which one cannot be registered.”

According to a statement signed by Mr. Ornguga, APC notes that the “exercise would last till the end of January and only those who are registered party members shall participate in the forthcoming congresses.”

The statement urged party elders and elected and appointed government officials to proceed to their wards for the registration exercise or to get in touch with their ward registration agents to capture.
