Netanyahu vows retaliation after Houthi missile attack

Date:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to attack Houthis after a missile fired by the group hit the grounds of Israel’s main airport, Ben Gurion Airport.

According to Israeli authorities, the missile was fired from Yemen by the Iran-backed group.

“We attacked in the past, we will attack in the future,” Prime Minister Netanyahu threatened in a video posted on social media.

According to Israeli media, four people were injured by the blast, with another two injured on their way to a shelter, Israeli media reported, citing emergency services.

The Israeli airport is “no longer safe for travel,” Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said in a televised statement.
