The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the resumption of its electronic membership registration exercise in all council wards and designated locations nationwide.
APC had earlier this January begun electronic registration of its members. Registrants must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
Mr. Felix Morka, APC National Publicity Secretary, says in a statement that the exercise is designed to digitise the party’s membership register and ensure the integrity of records.
Electronic registration will also enhance efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions, promote internal democracy, and strengthen the party’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.
Mr Morka’s statement urged existing APC members to validate their membership and encouraged new members to “register and join the progressive family.”
