Gunmen have compelled the driver of Rep Sesoo Gboko, Vandeikya/Konshisha (Jechira- APC), to surrender possession of the lawmaker’s vehicle to them.
The incident occurred on Sunday, May 10, at the car park of a public place in the Gudu area of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Engr. Bem Adzaagee, Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to the Honourable Member, says in a statement that “the driver who was just returning from an errand, was at the place to pick the Honourable Member who was having meetings with some persons at the public place.”
No one was harmed during the incident, Engr. Azaagee adds.
According to Engr. Azaagee, Rep Sesoo, remains committed to serving the good people of Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency and is not distracted in the least by this unfortunate incident.”
Rep. Sesoo is seeking a second term, having been first elected in 2023.
