Benue North West Senator, Dr Titus Zam, has picked the nomination and interest forms to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for a second term at the Senate.
Sen Zam announced on Tuesday, April 28, that he picked up the interest and nomination forms, adding that “this is to solicit your support again to contest the 2027 Benue North-West Senate election.”
He went on to say that Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), “has graciously approved” his aspiration to run for a second term.
“Sir (Akume), all I have to give you in return for your endorsement is loyalty, loyalty, and loyalty. I’m sure that with your approval, the good people of Benue North West senatorial District will once again return me to the red chambers to continue to work with the president and Commander in Chief, HE Sen Ahmed Bola Tinubu GCFR,” Sen Zam wrote on his Facebook timeline.
He prayed for the “president and pledged to work assiduously for his victory, and all other APC candidates come 2027.”
Sen Zam was first elected to the National Assembly’s Senate in 2023. He is from Gwer West Local Government Area (LGA), Benue State.
