2027: Prof. Kohol sets to pick nomination forms for Kwande/Ushongo

Date:

Consultations for the soul of Kwande/Ushongo 2027 have reached an advanced stage, with Prof. Kohol Iornem saying it was time to pick a date to pick forms for the contest.

Prof. Kohol is an accomplished Director of Executive Education and Professor of Business Management with over 15 years of experience.

On Monday, April 27, he held consultative talks with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Kwande Local Government Executive Council and the Council of Elders, with thousands of party faithful in attendance at Adikpo, to share his aspirations to represent Kwande/Ushongo in the House of Representatives come 2027.

Passionate about supporting widows and orphans, especially those living in rural communities, Prof. Kohol believes that Kwande and Ushongo deserve the best representation, and that is exactly what he is offering.

As someone who has witnessed firsthand how effective systems, laws, and infrastructure are maintained for the betterment of citizens, the Ushongo-born thinks he is duty-bound to bring his experience and knowledge back home to serve the people of the Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency.

In addition to seeking their support for their own election, Kwande/Ushongo hopeful also shared that his decision to join Fr. Hyacinth Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State, is driven by the visible infrastructural development across the state and improvements in people’s lives.

He appreciated party structure in the Benue North East LG, led by the APC Lead Pointman, Prince Moses Ternenge, whom he said the positive testimonies from Kwande people reflect his deep commitment to the community.

The meeting provided grounds for relief for several ward chairmen, who said they supported his 2023 ambition and faced disciplinary action for “anti-party activities.” They expressed relief and excitement that they are now in the same party, making the upcoming victory much easier.

The Kwande LG APC leadership, led by Dr Felix Kor, spoke glowingly about Prof Kohol’s immense selfless personality and his impact on the people. He maintained that Prof. Kohol was favoured on capacity, popularity, loyalty, competence, experience, and zoning, while pledging to support his aspirations to fruition.

Prof Kohol was accompanied by Elder Maurice Tsav, Engr. Iyorhen Isaac, Pastor Jacob Agede, Hon. Tyokase Aondoakura Moses, Harry Nyam, Toryima Davids, Hon. Akosu Emmanuel, Comr Lutor Isaac Ayaaga, Ms. Asagh Lily Dulcy, Orshio Ubeh, Jenebu Jess Peter, and other Kohol Nen Alia Asortar supporters.

According to the APC revised Timetable for the 2027 General election, the sale of forms will close on May 2, 2027. All forms are to be purchased at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
