Benue State has become a construction site, Engr Stephen Abenga, has said as he joins All Progressives Congress (APC), in his home Local Government Area (LGA), Ukum.

Celebrated for his achievements in technology and agribusiness, Engr. Abenga joined the APC family last Friday.

He praised Fr. Hyacinth Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State, for his “transformative leadership” in the state.

“Benue has become a construction site! From roads to schools and other initiatives, Governor Alia’s impact is undeniable. His vision inspired me to join the APC and contribute to this progress,” the renowned entrepreneur asserted.

He, therefore, urged Benue youth to fully support Fr. Alia’s administration, to deliver the Benue of the people’s dreams.

“The governor’s commitment to building the Benue of our dreams, creating jobs, and empowering young people is commendable. I call on every youth to rally behind his transformative vision,” the APC new entrant said.

He also lauded the Ukum Local Government Council (LGC) Chairman, Honourable Jonathan Modi, for his instrumental role in restoring peace and economic vitality in the yams rich LGA.

“Hon. Jonathan Modi is a leader Ukum people are lucky to have. His good heart and dedication have revived Gbagir Market, creating opportunities for traders and communities,” Abenga told the crowd of local leaders, youth, and supporters.

He was welcomed to the party with enthusiasm, with local party leaders describing his entry as a boost to the broom party.
