The founder and Executive Director, Mzehemen U Tiv Foundation (MUTF), Prof Kohol Iornem has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Benue State Government appointees from Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency.
There is a planned joint thanksgiving mass for the appointees – both in the State Executive Council, departments and parastals, as well as local leaders.
Prof. Iornem, in extending his goodwill to the appointees ahead of the Thanksgiving commended Fr. Hyacinth Alia, the Governor of Benue State, for his foresight and vision in making Benue State stand out through significant infrastructural development, improvement in education and healthcare, economic growth, human capital development, social welfare, and security initiatives.
The MUTF founder, therefore, expressed his unwavering support for the governor’s people-oriented policies. He also acknowledged Fr. Alia’s recognition of the people of Kwande/Ushongo Federal constituency and his commitment to their development, a statement by his Media and Communications Directorate, said.
“Additionally, he urged all eligible voters from Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency to actively participate in the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration exercise. This is crucial for ensuring that they vote for tested and credible leaders in the 2027 general elections, as Governor Alia has set a standard for effective leadership and governance since taking office in 2023,” the statement further said.
Prof. Iornem is, therefore, offering logistical support for every eligible voter in Kwande and Ushongo to register to participate in the 2027 general elections.
