Benue Police Command gets new PPRO

A new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) has assumed duty at the Nigeria Police, Benue State Command headquarters, Makurdi. She is DSP Udeme Edet.

The posting of DSP Udeme follows the redeployment of the outgone PPRO, CSP Sewuese Anene, who now takes command as the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of B’ Division Makurdi.

CSP Anene said in a statement that DSP Udeme last served as the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) Ikpai Omni Division, Calabar, Cross River State, before her posting as PPRO.

Members of the public and the media are invited to extend their usual cooperation and support to DSP Udeme in strengthening police-community relations and promoting public safety across Benue State.

DSP Udeme, a graduate of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations.
