Emmiwuks has ‘made a big statement,’ may even meet Trump – Ex-Governor’s aide

Date:

Erstwhile Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Diaspora Affairs, Mr. Peters Ichull, has urged the doubting Thomases to “leave” Emmanuel Myam, a.k.a. Emmiwuks, alone while asserting that the adventurist has “made a big statement, that America is the ultimate country on earth.”

Earlier today, Emmiwuks embarked on a bicycle journey to America from Lagos, Nigeria, amidst concerns from his friends and followers, most of whom asked the Benue-born to abandon the adventure.

We earlier told you that Emmiwuks ‘ “journey is about raising awareness and support for vulnerable orphan children and internally displaced persons (IDPs) kids who’ve lost their homes, families, and safety due to conflict and crisis in Nigeria and across Africa.”

Sharing his thoughts on the project, Mr. Ichull said: “Leave the guy. He’s already gone international. America is expecting a guest. He may even meet Trump.

“This is called cultural diplomacy. Americans love and protect those who love them.

“Wherever he gets tired, as long as they see his sincerity, they will help him cross the ocean. He’s made a big statement that America is the ultimate country on earth.

“This is an important cultural show of sportsmanship and entertainment to both America and Nigeria.”

In a recent update on his Meta (Facebook) timeline, Emmiwuks wrote: “So finally, today marks the beginning of history.

“I’ve officially taken off on my solo bicycle ride from Nigeria to the United States of America — a journey of purpose, passion, and unshakable belief.

“To everyone who showed up to flag me off, thank you from the depths of my heart. Your presence, prayers, and support gave me strength to take this first pedal forward.”

The social media space is already awash with images of the adventurist as he rides towards the US. He took off at the gate of the Lagos State University of Education, Lagos.
