The Benue State University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (UAST), Ihugh, has announced vacancies to be filled by highly motivated, competent, and visionary individuals.
UAST was established in 2024 by the Benue State Government and is guided by the founding philosophy of “Imagine, aspire, innovate, create.”
Applications are invited to fill vacancies in academic and research cadres, administration and management services, technical, technological and ICT services, and professional and specialist support services, said Dr. Johnson Ijale Echor, Registrar of the University, in a vacancy advertisement.
“Recruitment is being undertaken within a deliberately structured staffing framework that aligns with: National Universities Commission (NUC) standards; international best practices for research-intensive STEM universities; digital-first operational efficiency; and lean, agile, and sustainable university models,” part of the notice reads.
Applications submitted after February 1, 2026, will not be accepted, the university stated. Interested and eligible candidates are urged to apply through the UAST career portal at https://careers.bsuast.edu.ng
