Benue State Governor, Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has approved the appointment of an Interim Management Committee for Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi.
According to a press statement issued by Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor, Mr Terver Ikya heads the committee as Chairman. At the same time, The Nation’s Uja Emmanuel serves as Media Director.
Other members of the interim committee are Mr Harry Yachi, Technical Director; Barr. Owocho Adejoh Ogiri, member; and Mr Terzungwe Chugh, Admin/Board Secretary.
The immediate job of the interim management committee is to register Lobi Stars FC for the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
According to Sir Kula, the governor warned against distractions and urged all members to work together to achieve success and ensure the club returns to top-flight football.
