Ex-Benue Governor’s aide, Azembe, says wife ‘staked herself’ on an uncertain future

Date:

Erstwhile Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on Protocol and Administration, Office of the First Lady, Mr. Daniel Azembe, has said that his wife had “staked herself” on an uncertain future when they were united in holy matrimony 17 years ago.

Mr. Azembe and his heartthrob, Martha Mimi, walked down the aisle in 2008 to take marital vows.

17 years later, Mr. Azembe, referring to his wife as a “stunning one”, said his wife had 17 years ago “left everything and everyone to stake herself like a bet on one young man who was uncertain of life and even himself then.”

He was making reference to the sacrifices women make for marriage while celebrating their 17th marriage anniversary.

Mr. Azembe is a public servant, a public affairs analyst, an administrator, and a social media commentator.
