The management of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), is encouraging its students to take advantage of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NelFund) to ease the burden of tuition and other academic-related expenses.
According to the university management, MOAUM has been included in the NelFund dataset for the 2024/2025 academic session.
“Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this scheme, which offers flexible and accessible loan options designed to ease the burden of tuition and other academic-related expenses,” a statement on the University Facebook page reads in part.
The statement further stated that with the inclusion, all eligible and interested students of the university can access and apply for the student loan via the official NelFund portal: https://nelf.gov.ng.
“This opportunity is part of the Federal Government’s ongoing efforts to support students in meeting the financial demands of their education,” it explained.
NelFund is an initiative of the President Bola Ahmed (PBAT) administration to provide interest-free loans to help students overcome financial barriers to higher education.
