MOAUM announces vacancy for office of Vice-Chancellor

The Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University Makurdi (MOAUM) has announced a vacancy for a Vice-Chancellor to lead the university’s “transformative journey in the next five years.”

Established in 1992 by the Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu administration, MOAUM is the first state-owned university in Northern Nigeria.

The candidate suitable to fill the position must hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and be of a professorial rank at any recognised university, with a minimum of five years of experience as a professor, Mr. Barnabas Terfa Pine, MOAUM Registrar and Secretary to Council, said in a statement.

The statement further stated that the appointment will be for a single term of five years, with a competitive salary and allowances determined by the University Council.

It is understood that the closing date for the application will be August 31, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
