The 2023 Mbagwa State Constituency election candidate and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ushongo Local Government Area (LGA), Mr. John Msughter Pilakwagh will be saying goodbye to bachelorhood on July 19, when he takes the “love” of his life, Ms. Evelyn Dooshima.
Ms. Evelyn is the daughter of Unongokwagh Ashi from Mbabuande, Gwer West LGA, Benue State. The union is bringing the two families, which are spread across Benue North East and Benue North West together.
“My heart is so full knowing that in just a few days, I will be saying bye bye to singlehood and be walking down the aisle to marry my best friend and the love of my life,” Mr. John told TNT.
“I don’t want to be strong in the world and come home still wearing my armour. Every king and every queen needs a place where they can put down their sword and nurse their wounds,” Ms. Dooshima says ahead of the events.
There will be a church wedding on July 26, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Cathedral Gboko, Mr. John told TNT.
The couple plans a reception for guests after the solemnisation of the holy matrimony.
