The General Manager of Benue Links Nigeria Limited, Comrade Alexander Fanafa, has pledged continued support for initiatives geared towards ensuring the re-election of the Governor of Benue State, Fr Hyacinth Alia, in the 2027 general elections.
Comrade Fanafa made this known on Wednesday, March 11, when he received the Executive Members of the Makurdi Local Government Chapter of the Wisdom Women Support Group for Alia/Tinubu 2027 in his office at the company’s corporate headquarters in Makurdi.
In view of the remarkable achievements recorded by Governor Alia across various sectors of the state, Comrade Fanafa said, every well-meaning citizen of Benue State must rally behind the Governor to ensure the success of his re-election in 2027.
The Benue Links General Manager commended the Wisdom Women Support Group for their steadfast support for the governor and encouraged them to continue mobilising grassroots support for the administration.
Earlier, the Coordinator of the Wisdom Women Support Group for Alia/Tinubu 2027, Makurdi Local Government Chapter, Mrs Magdalene Andema, explained that the visit was to introduce the chapter to the General Manager formally and to identify with him in appreciation of the support he has continued to give towards the success of the Alia administration.
She particularly highlighted the diligent implementation of the masses-oriented transport policies of the Alia administration by the Fanafa-led management as one of the administration’s notable achievements. She urged Comrade Fanafa to sustain the good work.
Mr Johnson Ehi Daniel, Information Officer of the company, said coordinators of the group from all council wards in Makurdi Local Government Area turned out for the visit, which also featured the presentation of an Award of Hard Work and Exceptional Leadership as well as some campaign merchandise produced by the group, to the General Manager.
