United Nigeria Airlines launches Abuja- Accra, Lagos–Accra routes

Date:

United Nigeria Airlines has etched its name as a rising success story in West African aviation by launching its inaugural international flight from Nigeria to Accra, Ghana, marking a major regional expansion milestone.

The move symbolises the airline’s strategic vision of “Flying to Unite,” aimed at strengthening regional integration, cultural ties, and economic connectivity across West Africa, the airline said.

United Nigeria Airlines has commenced daily flights between Abuja and Accra, as well as four weekly flights from Lagos to Accra, operating with meticulous attention to customer satisfaction, safety, and punctuality.

The aircraft for the inaugural flight was named after the late Ghanaian President Jerry John Rawlings, honouring his Pan-African vision that echoes the airline’s mission.

United Nigeria Airlines, established in 2021, has quickly become one of the fastest-growing indigenous carriers in Nigeria, distinguished by its commitment to operational excellence and regional connectivity.

The recent expansion underlines its role in promoting trade, tourism, and cultural exchange, further boosting Ghana’s status as an aviation hub and signalling growing confidence in West Africa’s air travel infrastructure.

The warm reception and official designation as the 25th international carrier to operate out of Kotoka International Airport affirm United Nigeria Airlines’ emerging influence in the sector.

Plans for future network expansion and enhanced flight schedules demonstrate the airline’s determination to build a lasting legacy in the regional aviation industry
